Haverford Parks Haverford has lots of lovely parks, and many have children’s playgrounds. Feed the ducks, totter across the grass, or have a ride in a swing! Lower Merion Parks There are plenty of parks scattered throughout Lower Merion, and lots of fun and challenging recreation opportunities for your age group. Radnor Township Department of Parks and Recreation Come out to play at one of Radnor’s many parks! Join in with other toddlers and pre-schoolers for a fun summertime activity. |

The Main Line Art Center (5 to 18) Take an exciting and challenging art class or participate in one of the summer art camps run by the center; several scholarships are available for young people who need them. The center also runs great classes for kids with special needs. Wayne Art Center (5 to 18) Take fun and challenging arts or crafts workshops especially designed for your age group; garden design and music classes are also offered. |

Wayne Ballet and Center for Dance Arts (3 to 18) Learn or develop your skills in dance; top notch staff supports you to learn ballet, jazz, and hip hop at this excellent custom built school in Wayne. Pennsylvania Academy of Ballet This prestigious classical ballet school has been in Narberth for 25 years, and offers ballet training at all levels. Haverford Township Little League (7 to 12) Join your local minors or majors; have fun and improve your game! Radnor Wayne Little League (4 to 16) The Little League organizes fun softball games as well as baseball, and has extra divisions for tee ball also. Lower Merion Little League (7 to 12) They like Little League in Little Merion; there are teams for every age group and skill level. Get the facts behind baseball online at this great website. Haverford Soccer (5 to 7) Play soccer in summer with the Haverford Parks Department. Lower Merion Soccer Club (5 to 18) The league sponsors both girls and boys teams and runs an excellent program for children with special needs. Skatium Have fun on the ice! Learn how to ice skate or play ice hockey with other kids your age, or watch to a championship figure skating competition or special on ice show. Local ice hockey and skating clubs meet here too. Lower Merion Ice Hockey Club (5 to 18) Play ice hockey with others at your skill level, get support to improve your game and learn team skills. The club organizes games with other clubs throughout Pennsylvania. Radnor Sports Radnor has a lot of sport clubs and groups for kids and teens, including volleyball, aquatic, soccer, basketball, little league, athletics and youth lacrosse. You can also participate in ski and snowboarding adventures. Merry Place Explore the tree hut and nature walk, go fishing from the pier, play on the swings and slides or picnic with your friends under the trees. Haverford Skate Park Get your skates on and have fun at this special park just for you! Haverford Parks Haverford has many lovely parks, some dating back to the earliest days of European settlement. Several have ball fields and courts, and most have good playgrounds. Lower Merion Parks Lower Merion Township has a wide range of parks for playing ball, picnicking, or playing. The town’s parks department has an exciting recreational events program. Radnor Parks You’ll enjoy the many parks in Radnor; the town also runs fun workshops and events in summer like a yearly “Eco-camp”, a field hockey camp and several creative theater camps. Valley Forge National Historic Park Run and explore the grassy hills and dogwood thickets in the park, which stands as a memorial to the War for Independence. Check out George Washington's original stone headquarters, reconstructed log huts like those used by his soldiers, and watch films on the war at the visitor’s center. Haverford Parks Department Summer Programs (5 to 17) The Parks Department have a wide range of challenging and fun activities to keep you busy over summer. Participate in a “Wonders of Nature camp, “Musical Theater Magic”, “Hands On Science”, “Sport-n-Play” and more! Sesame Place (5 to 12) Play along with real live characters from Sesame Street! Enjoy interactive shows and lots of fun play and water rides at the 14 acre park. Please Touch Museum (5 to 7) Enter a wonderful world of doing it yourself!
